Kognito has been chosen by Always On as on of the OnDC Top 100 Private Companies.
The OnDC 100 winners were selected from among hundreds of other technology companies nominated by investors, bankers, journalists and industry insiders. The AlwaysOn editorial team conducted a rigorous three-month selection process to finalize the 2009 list.
Kognito’s innovations include a web-based simulation platform, which allows players to engage in conversations with realistic virtual characters — equipped with emotions and memory — and develop a strong understanding of the strategies and tactics that underlie effective and non-effective interpersonal communications. The platform goes beyond the typical branching-storyline approach prevalent in many of today’s simulations by utilizing an innovative game logic and behavioral feedback mechanism that provides players with insights into their decision-making patterns, assumptions and behavioral tendencies.
The Investigator, the first game-based training program on how to conduct workplace investigations, received the Top Training Product of the Year award from Human Resource Executive Magazine. The training program was developed by Kognito Interactive, and Curiale Hirschfeld Kraemer LLP, a leading labor and employment law firm. A demo of the program can be viewed at www.kognito.com/investigator.
