Kognito at Houston Public Schools in Education Week

Kognito brand to sunset beginning August 2023

Kognito, as a brand, will be sunset, which includes winding down our library of resources and simulation products at the completion of our current customer agreements. As of August 2, 2023, we have stopped all selling and marketing activities of Kognito’s product portfolio.

We remain committed to active Kognito customers and will continue to serve these accounts through the term of existing agreements.

Kognito was recently featured in a new article in Education Week about how Kognito’s online simulations are being used to equip Houston-area teachers with the knowledge and skills to recognize and respond to students impacted by trauma or distress.
The report highlights how Mental Health America of Greater Houston’s Center for School Behavioral Health partnered with Kognito and UNICEF USA to implement Trauma-Informed Practices for K12 Schools, an interactive professional development tool for educators, as a free resources for school districts around Houston. It also includes insights from Janet Pozmantier, Director of the Center for School Behavioral Health at Mental Health America of Greater Houston, and Jennifer Spiegler, Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Kognito.
