Overview
In this simulation, providers learn to reform parents' attitudes towards sugar-sweetened beverages, breastfeeding, and picky eaters. Providers practice relationship-centered communication to elicit parents' concerns, identify and amplify their reasons for change, and collaborate on an achievable plan for change.
This virtual learning experience provides learners practice with three scenarios to build confidence leading real-world patient encounters. It can be used as a stand-alone learning experience; or, in a larger curriculum, it can serve as practice and/or a focal point for discussion.
